I am the Superintendent of a K-8 school district near Chicago. You have developed a fabulous website full of ideas for those of us who want to follow in your footsteps. Your principal, Jan McCartan has been very helpful in talking with me. I am so impressed with the painting of your school. The staff effort is over the top!! Congratulations and best wishes for your first Leadership Day.

I am a Kindergarten teacher in Tulsa Oklahoma who began the journey in my own classroom and just recently completed our vision day. I just want to tell you how inspiring your journey and results are. Thank you sharing your resources and inspiring even those who are in this process. It is not an easy road but the results are obviously fruitful! Great Job and congratulations!

Great website Team Beaumont! I'm so happy you are on this journey & taking my son with you. In reviewing his data notebook this past week, one thing was very clear to me. With all the tracking of data, responsibilities, learning and personal goals, it is clear he's going to learn that HE is the key to his own success. I'm so pleased he's learning the 7 Habits at such a young age. I asked him what he thinks about the Leader In Me program and how it's changed his school and he said "that all the students are behaving better". And, when asked how he thinks it will help him, he said it "gives him focus". Keep up the good work. I see the Lighthouse at the beginning of your road because this year is just the beginning of a great journey!

Hi me again I just wanted to let all of our web visitors know a little more about the 7 habits. - the 7 habits don't excactly have a "process" but every school works differently. I mean like to be an official Leader In Me School you have some requirments, but as students the amount of time and effort of learning the habits is always different. I'm going to take some of Mrs.McCarton's word from community circle-for instance the superbowl theres fans, entertainment ,parties, merchandise and all this hype but realy when that game starts it isn't about all that it's about the players giving their all! Same for OUR superbowl, we have all these preparations but on leadership day it all comes down to the students and how we act and follow the habits all the teaCHERS ARE THERE TO HELP AND TO GUIDE YOU but not to do the work, we students have alot of workband practice to do but we have to follow our schools cheer-good,better,best never let it rest until your good is better and your better is BEST!!!!!! P.S. anyone who will be at Leadership Day i'm going to be there as a sort of Master of ceremonies!(isn't that awesome!!!!)

Today was an amazing day at Beaumont School. You have accomplished so much in a short amount of time by all working together. The evidence was overwhelming for why you should be designated a Leader in Me Lighthouse School. This is a wonderful gift you are giving to the children and the community.
You put Waterford on the map.

Thank you for inviting me.
